General informations

The Hasselblad Flextight X5 scanner is the flagship model of Hasselblad scanners and is about five times faster than any previous model, the so-called Imacon (Precision, 646, 848, 949).

The Flextight X5 is built with a vertical optical system that allows the CCD to face downwards, creating a glass-free optical path between the negative and the lens.

The system adopts a “virtual drum” and it’s based on continuous focus.

Resolution

The incredible rendering of detail is due to the mechanical precision, the quality of the filters and the Rodenstock lenses.
