PLEASE NOTE
Since the Hasselblad scanners are no longer in production (since 2019), the Flexcolor software is no longer updated. Therefore, for Mac users with operating systems after Mojave, the software will not work.

I recommend exporting the 3F format (.fff), which is the Hasselblad format corresponding to a RAW file.

With 3F, images are scanned at a resolution of 16 bits. In this way the entire color gamut of the negative is extracted from the scan.

A 3F file, being very similar to a digital RAW file, can be processed multiple times without permanently affecting the file.

On the Hasselblad website you can download Flexcolor for free (after a free registration), which is the software to process the 3F file, at this link:

Flexcolor Download

Scanning in 3F is an automatic scan, which saves on the actual scanning time. The file correction parameters will later be modified from home when converting the 3F into TIFF or JPEG, with the Flexcolor software.
